Renny Kranich has 38+ years of bilingual fluency. She has taught thousands of Spanish students in high school, university, and professional settings. She trained in language and literacy methods through Literacy Volunteers USA in Rochester, New York, with whom she maintained 20 years of volunteer service. She has successfully opened and operated two language schools in two different countries, and now offers Spanish language classes to small groups of expats and visitors in Boquete. As a degreed professional, she is a retired engineer.

Renny lives with her husband and dog, Tanner, in Western Panama. She is also an avid foodie who is featured as a guest chef from time-to-time around Boquete.

Spanish Language Experience:

  • 2005-2012 | Ingles, Tec. S.A., Panama: Owned and operated language school at 8 different locations across Panama where she taught thousands of students for the Panamanian government at least 300 hours per quarter along with her employees
  • 1997-2004 | Crash Course Spanish, Houston, Texas: Owned and operated a private language institute serving business, industry and government agencies with interests in Spanish-speaking markets where she created specialized, field-specific curriculums for clients to teach condensed, expedient Spanish classes in a 3-day, 5-day or 8-day course
  •  Professional Career: Electro-mechanical engineer with specialty in secure voice communication and instrumentation console design in international settings; NAFTA specialist and consultant in Texas; ISO 9000 series trainer and auditor for U.S.-owned manufacturing plants in Mexico
  • Teaching Experience: Spanish at university and high school levels; Professional training instructor on various engineering and international topics
